Getting here by air

There are daily flights from/to Copenhagen and Stockholm (SAS and Norwegian). KLM has daily flights from/to Amsterdam, and Norwegian flies directly to London, Paris, Prague, Barcelona and more.

 

There are more than 20 daily flights to/from Norway’s capital, Oslo, and excellent connections both to western and northern Norway.

Airport transfers 

There are two efficient shuttle bus services (Flybussen and Værnes-Ekspressen) departing from the airport to the city leaving the airport every 10 or 20 minutes depending on the arrival time. Both bus companies can be found directly after exiting the arrival hall of the airport. The airport bus takes you directly to the city center. The bus return ticket costs approx. 240 NOK (24 EUR). You can pay with cash or credit card on the bus.

By train

Værnes station is in the immediate vicinity of the terminal. Local trains traffic the station approx. once hourly. The train arrives in Trondheim at "Trondheim Sentralstasjon". Travel time to Trondheim is approx. 37 minutes. Price per adult: NOK 80.
